         Rev.  Andrew Moody

Pastor Moody is a native Texan and a life long Orthodox Presbyterian. He was raised in San Antonio under the ministry of Grace OPC. He was married to Billie in 1996, and they studied together at San Antonio College for two years. He finished his B.A. in Theology at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.  During this time he studied at the Frij Universitiet in Amsterdam, the Netherlands for a semester. After graduating in 2001, He began his seminary studies at Westminster Seminary California. In the Summer of 2003, the Moody's moved to Dallas, Texas where Andrew interned at an OPC mission church in the suburb of Garland while completing his M.Div at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. During this time he was ordained as a Ruling Elder of Faith OPC.

After his graduation from seminary In May of 2005, Andrew and his family moved to Amarillo to begin a year long pastoral internship at CCPC. In June of 2006, the congregation called Andrew to stay as their pastor. Upon completing his trials for ordination, Andrew was ordained by the Presbytery of the Southwest on November 10, 2006.

Andrew and Billie have 4 children: Eliana, Nathanael, Job, and Alethia. In addition to his pastoral duties, Andrew also runs a website devoted to promoting the history of the Presbyterian and Reformed tradition, called Reformation Art. He is the organizing facilitator of the Amarillo Reformed Fellowship ministerial alliance. He is currently preaching through the book of Job. You can listen to his sermons here.
