 Worship

Worship is the center of our life as the body of Jesus Christ.  In it, we partake of
the means of grace:  The Word, Sacraments, and Prayer.   The primary means by
which believers partake of God's grace is the preaching of the Word.  It is
important that believers attend worship every Sunday unless unable to because of
an emergency or other extraordinary circumstance.  We worship twice on Sunday,
having services at 11:00AM and 6:00PM.  Visit the sermons page to hear the
Word as it is preached in these services.

        Hebrews 10:23-25
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who
promised is faithful.  And let us consider how to stir up one another to love
and good works,  not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Our worship is characterized by a joyful reverance and awe in humble
thankfulness for our adoption as God's sons and daughters.  We primarily sing
hymns from the Revised Trinity Hymnal.  However, we are also open to
    tasteful well-written contemporary hymns.

Our worship consists of prayers of confession, thanks, and supplication, songs of
praise, adoration, and petition, the reading and preaching of God's Word, and
the administration of the sacraments.  The Lord's Supper is administered
on the first Sunday of the month.
